Counseling

Is it right for me?

Do you ever feel like all you can do is throw your arms up in the air? Do you just want to feel like a whole person again? Whether it is work, school, finances, relationships, children or some other source of stress, an excellent way to get back on confident feet is to work with a skilled clinician such as myself. Therapy can help build coping skills in order to manage life challenges, gain skills to redirect misguided or distorted thoughts and process emotions to have a better understanding of personal needs and how to meet them.

Perhaps you are feeling sad or anxious. Maybe you are unsure about the future of a relationship and want to make a decision about it or begin working on it. Is there something in your past that you feel like you have not worked through yet and it is impacting your life today? Whatever your needs may be, I am here to offer help. My focus is often to encourage a positive outlook and the adoption of new attitudes and thought patterns, which lead to more amicable outcomes. I have the tools and professional experience to help you get on the path that you have been hoping for.

Every day, we must fit into many different roles no matter who we are, and these roles may include employee, parent, child, student, partner, etc. Each role has its own stress and impact on us. I work with individuals and couples to recognize all these things and build healthy strategies for coping and communication in order to navigate a healthy way of being.

I encourage you to reach out and take the first steps towards more positive coping and begin the therapy process. The best way to reach me is through email. If you feel as though I could be a good fit for your needs, don't wait, email me and let's talk more about what I can do to help you achieve your personal goals.
